Orchestration of Educational Computer Game Environments
Mullivelled 2.0
Vision
In this project we apply an ALGS framework to a real-time strategy game Globulation2, identify the problems that arise, and solve them by creating a set of useful tools and guidelines, which should make the game facilitator’s tasks a lot easier.
The facilitator should be able to concentrate on observing the players and debriefing them. He/she should not need to worry about technical or administrative issues. The monitoring of the players should be made easier, so that the facilitator could easily remember their reactions to different situations, which he/she could point out later at the debriefing. It’s also important that the players wouldn’t be disturbed with the technical issues or complicated steps for starting the game or switching between rounds, so it wouldn’t ruin the positive emotions of playing the game (and learning in the process).
