The solution was (I use xubuntu) to launch xfce4-mixer - to select Playback: Buil-in Analog Stereo. Then I run terminal - launched xfce4-settings-editor - selected xfce4-mixer and copied sound-card Value to the active-card value. This was the main reason why I started looking at the virtualbox solution - however the speed there was pretty sad. So, you could try to toy around with native android x86 and vesa or uvesa-mode or as said with virtualbox. The usb thing shouldn't be too hard - at least not in oracle's virtualbox version -not so sure, if it works or is supposed to work in virtualbox-ose. What did you try?
