Software Engineering in Distributed Systems in spring term 2008 at the University of Tartu. Do not be fooled by the title, it offers room for topics from most areas of applied computer science. We decided to offer a second seminar in close sequence to the last, as the last one was a great success (compare 2007 fall term). We hoped to offer a joined seminar with the Biit group. However, I have received no direct feedback from them, but we would be very interested to win people who are interested in Bio-Informatics, data-mining, or machine learning to report about supporting tools available in their area. Especially if these tools could be potentially used to model domain specific distributed applications. There has been some confusion about the starting time of this course. For a start we meet first on Wednesday the 20th of February at 12:15 in 311. If you can’t come, come to my office. See topics and syllabus.
