eHomeConfigurator

The eHomeConfigurator was created, while I was doing my PhD studies. It is an open-source eHome system creator, software integration, and development project. The result of the project is a tool and environment for supporting eHome systems and processes.

Even, if I have some future ideas for updating eHomeConfigurator to a non-rule-based smart home management tool, I am currently missing the resources to support such a project.

In the meantime, please check out the followng great opensource and actively maintained alternatives. I personally use Home-Assistant but have successfully used OpenHAB and FHEM in my classes - Home Assisstant: http://home-assistant.io - OpenHAB: http://openhab.org - FHEM: http://fhem.org

The eHomeConfigurator can be downloaded from: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=112943 The sourceforge project page is located at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ehomeconfig You can get direct address to this site, if you enter http://ehomeconfig.ulno.net in your browser. To access the newest sourcecode via cvs, you have to enter the following:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@ehomeconfig.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ehomeconfig login

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@ehomeconfig.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ehomeconfig co -P ehomespecificator

More documentation including my PhD thesis can be accessed from my PhD project site.
